Role Overview

Support automation and visualization of critical deliverables for the Charlotte Generator Order Management team.

Analyze order management workflows and develop solutions that improve operational efficiency.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities in order management processes.
  • Gather requirements from generator design, production, and dispatch stakeholders.
  • Develop business cases that quantify potential automation improvements.
  • Design and document future-state automated processes and workflows.
  • Develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using tools and scripting languages.
  • Manage automation initiatives from conception through implementation and post-launch support.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain deployed solutions for availability and performance.
  • Train the Order Management team on automation solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least four years of experience in a related field.
  • At least four years of SAP experience and proficiency using SAP.
  • Proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and communicate with local and international colleagues.
  • Independent but team-oriented work style with strong work ethic and limited need for supervision.
  • Expert written, verbal, mathematical, and interpersonal skills.

The role supports Siemens Energy’s Transformation of Industry division and its work on industrial decarbonization, electrification, and efficiency.

The division combines industrial expertise, global operations, and technology to support sustainable energy transformation.
