Role overview
The Information Security Analyst (SOC/CTI) administers Tabby's security operations platform and cyber threat intelligence capability.
The role focuses on Elastic SIEM, Cyble CTI and brand protection, detection quality, managed SOC oversight, and incident validation and closure.
SIEM administration
- Monitor Elastic SIEM health, index lifecycle management, cluster performance, and log ingestion rates.
- Coordinate log source onboarding with IT, Cloud, DevOps, and application teams through syslog, APIs, Beats, or custom parsers.
- Maintain asset and log source inventories, coverage data, configuration documentation, and platform architecture notes.
- Perform housekeeping, manage retention policies, verify detection rules, and resolve parsing or ingestion issues.
- Support SIEM tuning and validate that log data is normalized and queryable.
Detection engineering
- Review, test, and approve correlation rules and use cases submitted by the managed SOC provider.
- Maintain the use case library with rule logic, identifiers, review dates, trigger frequency, and approval status.
- Monitor false positives, untriggered rules, detection gaps, and alignment with Tabby's threat model.
- Translate fintech risks into detection specifications and review coverage against MITRE ATT&CK, SAMA CSF, and NCA ECC.
