- Process threat intelligence from various sources and escalate risks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and track remediation
- Deliver cybersecurity awareness campaigns and training
- Perform bi annual permissions reviews for identity and access management
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory compliance
- Manage cyber key risk indicators and key performance indicators
- Act as regional AI champion and develop AI initiatives
Requirements
- Experience in cybersecurity operations
- Knowledge of threat intelligence and vulnerability assessment
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (DIFC, QFC, SAMA, NCA)
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
- Understanding of ISO 27001 and NIST standards

Overview of the Department/Section
- The MENA Systems Team provides local support for MUFG staff in Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, and backs up the Riyadh team.
- Supports all locally and internationally deployed technologies and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Process threat intelligence from various sources via correct escalation route.
- Log recording of all items processed and prepare metrics for KRIs.
- Ensure IOCs are passed on and circulated.
- Register and track advertised vulnerabilities to conclusion.
- Report and advise seniors on completed remediation activities.
- Raise tickets on ServiceNow to formalize remediation requests.
- Become SME locally for Email DLP solution.
- Deliver regular cyber briefings via email to staff and management.
- Organize and plan cyber training days.
- Manage circulation of critical documents (Cyber Policy) acknowledged by all staff.
- Perform bi annual permissions review for the region.
- Analyze cyber KRIs/KPIs including backups, email encryption, phishing metrics.
Qualifications
- Experience in cybersecurity operations.
- Knowledge of threat intelligence, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (DIFC, QFC, SAMA, NCA).
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
- Understanding of ISO 27001 and NIST standards.
