Responsibilities
- Process threat intelligence from various sources and escalate as needed
- Perform vulnerability assessment and remediation tracking
- Conduct cybersecurity awareness campaigns and training
- Perform bi annual permissions review for identity and access management
- Monitor and report on cyber KRIs/KPIs
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory compliance
- Act as AI Regional Champion, develop newsletters and maintain AI project register
Requirements
- 12 months experience in cybersecurity or IT security (internship, graduate program, or first job)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity
- English language skills, written and verbal (fluent)
- Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet regulatory deadlines
- Strong ethical standards and a sense of confidentiality
- Basic understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and encryption
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements: DIFC, QFC, SAMA, NCA
- Excellent AI skills and creative approach to communications

Overview of the Department/Section
- The MENA Systems Team provides local support for MUFG staff in Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, and other regional offices.
- All locally and internationally deployed technologies and applications are supported by MENA Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Threat Intelligence: Process threat intel, escalate risks, log items, prepare metrics.
- Vulnerability Assessment and Remediation: Track vulnerabilities, raise tickets, become SME for Email DLP.
- Awareness Campaign: Conduct cyber briefings, manage phishing simulations, organize training days.
- Identity and Access Management: Perform bi annual permissions review.
- Cyber KRI/KPI: Monitor backups, email encryption, phishing metrics, training metrics.
- General Duties: Conduct induction training, support MENA Systems, manage Cyber MS Teams.
- Cyber GRC: Manage regional Cyber Document Register, attend EMEA RSC meetings.
- Project Support: Support annual cybersecurity monitoring project, manage funding register.
- Policy & Compliance Support: Support audits, assist with policy reviews.
- Infrastructure & Third Party Risk: Support reviews of infrastructure configurations.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) Regional Champion: Develop newsletters, maintain AI project register, attend AI events.
Work Experience
- 12 months experience in cybersecurity or IT security (internship, graduate program, or first job).
