Analog Design Engineer Success Profile: Success Factors & Descriptions
Circuit Design, Analysis & Execution Designs, and implements analog, analog-mixed signal & integrated circuits (ICs) that enable new TI products and customer solutions. Leads IP and chip architecture, schematic design & simulation (pre- and post-layout) basis the specification requirements. Applies deep understanding of analog fundamentals, process technologies, and circuit design techniques. Delivers robust, innovative, and efficient designs aligning with customer needs. Meets project milestones while adapting to changing requirements. Develops and executes experiments to debug and improve designs. Able to understand & use relevant software tools (MATLAB, Cadence, etc.) for drawing schematics, simulations, data processing, Modeling etc. Understands and applies the concepts of feedback loops, design reliability, stability analysis, and debug analysis Demonstrates a high sense of ownership on design decisions & accountability while executing technical developments. Understands and applies TI’s NPDE Methodology; Proactively identifies and addresses risks in design & execution Strives to improve execution efficiency using automation Innovation, Problem Solving & Continuous learning Stays abreast of industry trends and emerging Circuit topologies & architectures. Proactively proposes and implements innovative solutions Demonstrates curiosity to go beyond assigned tasks to learn and understands the entire product development Applies classroom/theoretical knowledge to real-world problems and expands expertise across application areas. Engages in deep technical discussions and “what if” scenarios Keeps the end-user in mind, anticipates market/application needs Able to explain complex concepts and innovations to technical and non-technical stakeholders Actively pursues professional development, continuous learning and shares knowledge with peers.
