Security Manager (North Texas)

This Security Manager at Texas Instruments will be responsible for the administrative supervision and operational leadership of the physical security organization. Responsibilities include oversight of security operations, contract guard force management, and the planning and execution of security infrastructure and technology projects. This individual develops, implements, and maintains security policies, procedures, and standards to protect people, assets, facilities, and operations while ensuring compliance with corporate requirements and regulatory obligations.

The Security Manager partners cross-functionally with Facilities, ESHS, HR, Legal, IT, and business leadership to proactively identify risk, implement mitigation strategies, and deliver a professional, performance-driven security program. This individual manages, develops, and evaluates personnel and vendors to ensure the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective operation of the function. Core Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day physical security operations including access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, visitor management, key control, and perimeter security

Manage contract guard force performance, staffing levels, training standards, post orders, and daily supervision

Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines

Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses; develop mitigation plans and track corrective actions

Coordinate emergency response activities and support crisis management and business continuity programs

Serve as subject matter expert for physical security systems including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and monitoring platforms

Lead security infrastructure and technology projects from concept through commissioning, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, testing, and handoff to operations

Participate in security design reviews and project management for new construction and renovation projects to ensure layered security principles are embedded early

Manage third-party vendors and integrators, including development of SOWs, SLAs, KPIs, performance reviews, and invoice validation
