Role overview
Develop core algorithms for Rylo cameras and future products.
Improve image quality and create new computational photography features.
Work on end-to-end solutions through design, implementation, evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
Collaborate with software engineers, hardware engineers, and designers.
Report directly to the CEO and co-founder.
What you'll work on
- Design and implement novel computational photography algorithms.
- Work closely with the hardware team to design new camera products.
- Transfer technology to product groups and see ideas shipped in products.
Who we're looking for
- Master's degree and 4 years of experience, or a PhD in electrical engineering or computer science.
- Excellent knowledge of image processing, computer vision, and computational photography theory and practice.
- Fluency in C and C++ programming.
- Fluency in a rapid prototyping environment such as MATLAB.
- Strong communication skills are required.
- Parallel programming skills using CUDA, Halide, OpenCL, or Metal are a strong plus.
