Air Export Agent

Scope of Position

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely shipment processing and accurate operational data entry.
• Track and trace shipments and communicate proactively with internal and external customers.
• Complete accurate and timely client billing, including dispute resolution.
• Ensure customer expectations, SOP elements, and KPIs are met.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and external regulations.
• Complete cross-training to support team coverage and represent the company professionally.

Role Expectations

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and develop procedures for implementation.
• Complete 52 hours of training per year, including mandatory training.
• Develop customer relationships, exceed expectations, and provide solutions with a sense of urgency.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency with software applications such as Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
• Typing speed of 30 words per minute and 10-key data entry by touch.
• Dangerous goods certification and other required compliance certifications are required.
• Candidates need export compliance knowledge and general airline or logistics knowledge.
• Ability to adapt to change and work efficiently in a high-stress environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills are required.

Technical and Business Skills

• The role involves software development principles, automation platforms such as Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, M365 technologies, data structures, APIs, integrations, and system architecture.
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, large language models, and prompt engineering is stated.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and translate business requirements into technical solutions is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing automations, applications, or digital solutions is preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects is preferred.
• Operations, logistics, finance, or enterprise shared services experience is preferred.
• Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, or related certifications are preferred.

Compensation

• The expected hourly range is $24.00 to $30.00.
• The position may be eligible for a bonus after the first year of continuous employment.
