Role Overview

Serve in an operations capacity supporting air export shipments and accompanying export documentation.

Work on the second shift and support department needs through overtime and weekend availability as required.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Track and trace shipments.
  • Prepare and process house and master air waybills, commercial documents, and customs or regulatory documents.
  • Enter shipment data accurately and on time into the operating system.
  • Dispatch freight and monitor operational reports.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, global offices, and coworkers through email, phone, instant message, and in person.
  • Complete accurate and timely client billing.
  • Maintain strong relationships with airlines, trucking companies, and other service providers.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies, government regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Meet department, branch, product, and company performance indicators.
  • Understand department process flow and identify efficiency improvements.
  • Complete 52 hours of annual company-provided training.

Qualifications

  • Have 6 months to 1 year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of air documentation processes is a plus.
  • Have effective interpersonal, listening, comprehension, and communication skills.
  • Be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Have a proactive approach and strong organizational skills.
  • Have good computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Be fluent in English.
  • IATA certification is preferred.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
