Responsibilities & Deliverables

Own the enterprise AI transformation end to end, from use-case intake through delivery to measured business value.

Run the AI use-case registry and intake process; score and prioritise use cases, assigning delivery motions and waves.

Manage cross-team dependencies across functions, tech ops and delivery partners.

Drive build-versus-buy calls, vendor selection and statement-of-work validation.

Functionally lead the central AI team and steer function transformation leads to land adoption and ROI.

Prepare governance and risk-tiering inputs; represent the programme in the SteerCo and biweekly Governance Committee, and contribute to board updates.

Deliver portfolio reporting that leaders can act on — decisions, not just status.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years running technical, data or AI programmes, including portfolio ownership at head-of or director level — not purely a PMO or coordination role.

Experience governing a portfolio of AI use cases at enterprise scale (not a single project), with real decision rights over what gets funded.

Proven leadership of a team or cross-functional delivery network — the authority to decide and hold others to account.
