Principal Systems Engineer

Technical Expertise

- Extensive hands‑on experience architecting, deploying, and operating NetApp storage platforms ( NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO), NetApp ONTAP on‑prem systems (AFF, FAS), Azure NetApp Files (ANF))

- Deep understanding of ONTAP features (SnapMirror, SnapVault, FlexClone, QoS, FabricPool, NAS/SAN protocols, security hardening).

- Strong experience with hybrid cloud storage integration, data migration, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.

- experience with monitoring thanks to Grafana for NetApp (Harvest, Cloud Insights, Dashboards) and with automation with NetApp API expertise using PowerShell (ONTAP PowerShell Toolkit, REST API automation)

Platform & Infrastructure Skills

- Proficiency with automation and scripting (PowerShell, REST APIs, Python preferred).

- Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure across Windows/Linux, virtualization (VMware), networking, and identity platforms (Active Directory/LDAP).

- Solid understanding of cloud environments, especially Microsoft Azure.

Professional & Framework Experience

- Experience operating within ITIL‑aligned environments (Incident/Problem/Change Management).

- Ability to design and support large‑scale, business‑critical infrastructure with high availability and resilience.

- Required Professional Experience: 10–15+ Years

Soft Skills & Leadership

- Ability to lead cross‑functional technical initiatives involving high risk and complexity.

- Strong communication skills to explain advanced concepts and influence stakeholders at senior levels.

- Demonstrated capacity for innovation, conceptual thinking, and solving unique problems with broad business impact.
