The AI and Data team will support project 12050281, QCB Data Management Program - Phase 3.
The client is the Central Bank of Qatar, which regulates and oversees Qatar's financial and banking sectors.
Role Overview
The AI / ML Engineer will develop production-ready applications and systems using artificial intelligence tools and cloud AI services.
The role includes subject matter expertise, team collaboration and management, technical guidance, and cross-team decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI applications and systems and build cloud or on-premises pipelines to production-ready quality.
- Apply generative AI models, potentially including deep learning, neural networks, chatbots, and image processing.
- Lead scalable AI solution design and implementation and integrate machine learning models into broader architectures.
- Provide technical guidance, support knowledge sharing, and collaborate with multiple teams.
- Analyze complex datasets to improve model performance and application effectiveness.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to innovation and competitive advantage.
Requirements
- Expert proficiency in machine learning is required.
- Experience with AI applications, cloud AI services, production-ready pipelines, and generative AI models is required.
- The role requires subject matter expertise and the ability to manage a team and take responsibility for team decisions.
- Advanced proficiency in foundation model fine-tuning, foundation models, and database architecture is suggested rather than required.
