About the Role

- Build, deploy, and maintain robust, efficient, and compliant AI centric solutions from proof of concepts through MVPs to mature products
- Engage with technical and non technical colleagues to help them harness the power of AI
- Stay at the forefront of the rapidly evolving AI landscape and contribute to shaping Novo Nordisk's AI vision and strategy
- Spearhead early adoption and utilization of novel technologies with long term potential
- Create and drive AI and data centric projects and initiatives with self sufficiency and strategic thinking
- Update technical documentation, participate in team and external meetings, and contribute to ideation of innovative solutions
- Convey deep technical expertise to stakeholders across all levels, making complex AI concepts accessible and actionable
Requirements
- Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or similar field
- Proven work experience in AI or ML/NLP
- Demonstrated contribution to Agentic AI products in production
- Strong proficiency with Python based AI frontend technologies (Chainlit, Streamlit)
- Experience with AI agents and multi agent systems
- Deep expertise across AI stack including vector databases, data pipelines, knowledge graphs, AI architecture
- Fluency with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions) and DevOps with Kubernetes
- Deep expertise with Docker based development and deployments
- Proficiency in MS Azure and Amazon AWS, especially Azure OpenAI and Bedrock
- Familiarity with Terraform and/or cloud agnostic Infrastructure as Code

The Position
- As an AI Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our AI transformation journey, building and deploying cutting edge AI solutions.
Your Responsibilities Will Include

Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a similar field, along with proven work experience in AI or ML/NLP.
- Demonstrated contribution to Agentic AI products currently in production.
- Strong proficiency with Python based, AI centric frontend technologies such as Chainlit and Streamlit.
- Experience taking an AI related startup or scaleup from early stages to maturity, including hands on work with AI agents and multi agent systems.
- Deep technical expertise across the AI stack including vector databases, data pipelines, knowledge graphs, and AI architecture.
- Fluency with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Github Actions, and expertise with DevOps and deployment orchestrators, particularly Kubernetes.
- Deep expertise with Docker based development environments and deployments.
- Proficiency in MS Azure and Amazon AWS, especially their AI offerings (Azure OpenAI and Bedrock).
- Familiarity with Terraform and/or cloud agnostic Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Bonus qualifications: Experience with Google Cloud, Vector Databases, Semantic Search, and Language Models.
