Role overview
AI Makeover is seeking an AI Automation Engineer or AI Solutions Developer to build AI-powered business automation systems.
The initial project is an intelligent management system for a salon business, with plans to develop it into a scalable product for other businesses.
Responsibilities
- Build AI agents that communicate with customers and perform real business actions.
- Integrate WhatsApp Business or Cloud API with business systems.
- Build n8n workflows connecting AI agents, databases, booking systems, and external APIs.
- Develop customer and booking management systems, staff scheduling logic, dashboards, and automated reports.
- Implement LLM APIs, function or tool calling, authentication, permissions, deployment, and logging.
- Maintain technical documentation and help scale the initial internal system into a product.
Technical requirements
- Strong experience with Python and/or TypeScript and n8n or similar automation platforms.
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, integrations, LLM APIs, AI agents, and tool or function calling.
- Experience with WhatsApp Cloud API, Supabase or PostgreSQL, authentication, permissions, cloud deployment, Git/GitHub, debugging, monitoring, and logging.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate a production AI agent or automation system that used a database, external APIs, and real business process automation.
