Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Drive execution of the AI and Data strategy in alignment with the organization’s global AI vision and roadmap.
• Build and scale a high-performing AI, Data and Engineering organization.
• Lead delivery of Generative AI, LLM, RAG, AI agent, machine learning and intelligent automation solutions.
• Develop AI products, platforms, accelerators, reusable frameworks and intellectual property.
• Identify AI opportunities with C-suite and enterprise clients and shape technology strategies.
• Ensure strategic AI programs meet quality, speed, scalability and return-on-investment goals.
• Support AI-led pre-sales, solutioning, proposals, business development and account expansion.
• Attract, develop and retain AI, data engineering, software engineering and architecture talent.
• Represent the organization through forums, events, partnerships and thought leadership.

Required qualifications

• 15–18 years of experience in technology, AI, data, product engineering or consulting, including 8 or more years leading an AI team.
• Proven experience as an AI Architect, Technology Lead, Engineering Lead, Data and AI Leader or equivalent.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, machine learning, data engineering and cloud platforms.
• Experience taking AI initiatives from proof of concept to production scale.
• Experience building and leading large, high-performing technology organizations.
• Enterprise client-facing and C-suite stakeholder management experience.
• Understanding of business growth, revenue, margins, delivery and commercial outcomes.
• Exceptional communication, strategic thinking and executive leadership capabilities.
• Engineering or technology degree from a recognized institution.

Preferred background

• An advanced M.Tech, MS or MBA degree from a premier institute is a plus.
• Experience in SaaS, IT services, enterprise technology, e-commerce, martech, digital products or AI-first organizations is preferred.
• Experience building or scaling a technology or AI Center of Excellence is advantageous.
