SCOPE
The AGRO maintenance technician will obtain the primary responsibility to maintain and repair equipment in a proactive manner. Perform all preventative maintenance as scheduled and continuously review and improve PM systems to drive down performance losses and increase equipment reliability. Troubleshoot and repair simple to complex process equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively perform all condition based and preventive maintenance work to OEM standards.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair/ replace simple to complex problems in plant production equipment.
- Installation of new equipment.
- Analyze line performance data and provide line improvement support based on findings and analysis.
- Understand the Theory of Operation for all pieces of equipment in area of responsibility.
- Provide input to the Centerline standard based on expertise and observations.
- Document all work order information within Computer Maintenance Management System per best practices.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Actively participate in Plant Initiatives and Improvement teams
- Support technical training to Operators and specific training to allow them to perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Provide recommendations to spare part stocking levels.
- Serve as a role model to drive a positive culture and exemplify established values.
- All other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to physically perform the functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
Must be able to work seated using a computer and phone for long periods of time.
