Key Responsibilities
- Farm & crop management
- Oversee daily farm operations with a focus on date palm cultivation and health management
- Conduct routine monitoring of plant health, identifying early signs of stress, nutrient deficiencies, pest activity or disease
- Support the application of fertilization treatments in line with agronomic guidelines and schedules
- Irrigation system oversight
- Carry out regular inspections of irrigation and fertilization systems to ensure correct and efficient operation
- Monitor irrigation performance across all zones and promptly flag any faults, blockages or inefficiencies
- Track and record water usage data to support operational reporting and resource management
- Reporting & documentation
- Maintain accurate records of field observations, operational activities and water use on a daily basis
- Submit daily operational updates and agronomic observations to the agronomy team in a clear and timely manner
- Follow established operational protocols consistently across all monitoring and reporting activities
