Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Agricultural Engineer located in Jiddah.
The Agricultural Engineer will be responsible for designing and managing projects related to agriculture, including irrigation systems, pest control strategies, and other agricultural technologies.
Day-to-day tasks involve providing technical assistance, planning and implementing solutions, and maintaining efficient and sustainable agricultural systems, with a focus on innovation and performance optimization.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Agricultural Engineering, with knowledge of sustainable and efficient agricultural practices
- Experience in designing and managing Irrigation systems to enhance agricultural productivity
- Expertise in Pest Control and techniques to mitigate agricultural risks and improve yield
- Strong skills in Planning and executing projects, ensuring adherence to environmental and safety standards
- Ability to provide Technical Assistance and implement practical solutions to optimize operations
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and technologies
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with local agricultural regulations and practices in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region is a plus
