AFR Specialist

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Act as the first customer contact for shipment information, incidents, complaints, ad hoc pricing, and claims.
• Capture correct costs and revenues against customer profiles and take ownership of issue resolution.
• Administer bookings, documentation requirements, and local and international transport activities.
• Manage shipments in line with customer service commitments and maintain high shipment data quality.
• Track, record, analyze, and improve operational exceptions and irregularities.
• Implement regulatory compliance procedures relating to shipment commodities and locations.
• Route or assign shipments to relevant consolidations while meeting service commitments and maximizing profitability.
• Identify critical shipments and new business requiring additional support or hypercare.
• Prepare information for customer visits and participate in customer visits about operational topics.
• Prepare accurate and timely invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and supporting documentation.
• Investigate invoice disputes, resolve recurring issues, and suggest process enhancements.
• Resolve supplier performance issues and provide functional guidance or training to less experienced staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• More than four years of experience.
• Mandarin Chinese speaking skills are mandatory.
• Logistics or industry-sector specialist expertise is required for day-to-day work.
