Role Overview
DHL Global Forwarding is hiring an AFR Operation Manager in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The role leads air freight operations, customer service, supplier performance, profitability, compliance, and team execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage departmental P&L and ensure productivity and gross profit targets are achieved.
- Drive local-market growth with field sales and improve customer satisfaction and retention.
- Handle customer complaints and special requests as a first- or second-level escalation point.
- Monitor feedback and operational performance and implement process improvements.
- Ensure shipment execution follows global standard processes and regulatory requirements.
- Manage suppliers to optimize service delivery and profitability.
- Develop a high-performing team and lead supervisors and specialists against air freight objectives.
- Identify upsell opportunities, conduct customer visits, and resolve customer incidents.
- Identify supplier performance issues and propose solutions for air freight operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- More than five years of experience.
