Advisor (Transport Security)

The purpose of the Advisor (Transport Security) is to deliver a range of outcomes to support the Transport Security Program of Work which includes:Administration of the Transport Security (Counter-Terrorism) Act 2008.Facilitation of a Transport Precinct Security ProgramFacilitation of the TMR Protective Security Framework.Some of your responsibilities will include:Manage assigned projects and tasks to ensure quality outputs are delivered within predetermined timeframes, in accordance with approved scope, performance indicators and quality standards.Collaborate, facilitate, and coordinate collective efforts across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve and build organisational resilience across a range of security threats and risks.Provide professional and timely advice to senior management or customers on protective security related issues, policy, strategies, systems, and processes.Support broader team objectives, across Transport Security and TNSR.Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed.Applications to remain current for 12 monthsJob Ad Reference: QLD/700926/26 Closing Date: Monday, 12 October 2026
