Job Purpose

  • The Lifting Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating all lifting operations at the worksite.
  • Ensures compliance with company procedures, ADNOC requirements, and applicable safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and control all lifting operations on site in accordance with approved lifting plans and procedures.
  • Ensure all lifting activities comply with ADNOC, client, and statutory safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with Appointed Persons, Crane Operators, Banksmen, Riggers, and site personnel.
  • Verify that cranes, lifting accessories, and rigging equipment have valid certifications and inspections.
  • Conduct pre lift briefings and toolbox talks with lifting teams.
  • Review and implement approved lifting plans and risk assessments.
  • Monitor lifting operations to ensure safe working practices.
  • Stop any unsafe lifting activity.
  • Maintain records of lifting activities, inspections, and safety observations.
  • Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with HSE personnel for compliance.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
  • ADNOC approved Lifting Supervisor certification (preferred).
  • Valid Third Party Lifting Supervisor Certification.
  • Additional HSE certifications are an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 10 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Construction, or Industrial Projects.
  • Experience in ADNOC Onshore projects is mandatory/preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Thorough understanding of lifting plans, load charts, and rigging calculations.
  • Knowledge of ADNOC lifting procedures and international standards.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
  • Ability to identify hazards and implement effective control measures.
  • Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Work Environment

  • Onshore Oil & Gas facilities, construction sites, and industrial plants.
  • Willingness to work in remote locations, rotational shifts, and project based assignments.
