Administrative Assistant / Front Office Executive supporting Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Infectious Diseases in the UAE.
This is a six-month fixed-term contract role.
Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the team.
- Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain physical and digital filing systems and accurate records.
- Handle calls, emails, data entry, scheduled reports, and internal communications.
- Support employee onboarding, travel arrangements, expense reports, and event planning.
- Take meeting minutes and track action items related to commercial meetings.
Front Office and Office Operations
- Manage the front office desk and answer or redirect incoming calls.
- Receive letters and packages and send them to the appropriate destination.
- Monitor office supplies, place orders, and maintain inventory levels.
- Monitor and update records and files and log office expenses and costs.
- Submit purchase orders when required and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Two to three years of proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with office machines and knowledge of office management and bookkeeping.
Preferred Qualification
- Arabic-speaking ability is preferred but not mandatory.
Work Details
- The position works from Abbott's UAE location in Dubai.
- The stated work shift is standard, with no travel required.
