ATCO – HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
POSITION SUMMARY
ATCO Rubber Products Inc. is currently hiring for a Human Resources Generalist who will be responsible for daily functions of the Human Resources department including but not limited to staffing and recruitment, benefits administration, pay and leave, payroll processing, occupational health and safety, employee record maintenance and implementing all HR and company policies and practices. This position will support company-wide projects, implementations and audits at all ATCO locations as required. Will work under general supervision with limited independent judgment related to HR matters, issues, inquiries, including policy interpretation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Drive the selection and hiring process for ATCO according to standards, from sourcing candidates, pre-employment screenings, to on-boarding process.
Handles employment related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Facilitate new employee orientations
Time keeping maintenance while assisting and supporting payroll processing
Coordinate workers’ compensation reporting
Complete and maintain injury reports for OSHA 300 and 300A reporting
Participate as a safety administrator for corporate safety issues
Benefits administration
Maintenance of employee records
Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
Skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office
Management of time and attendance (Dayforce) with processing of weekly payroll
Knowledge of principles of human resource management and practices and state and federal laws pertaining to fair employment practices, and equal employment opportunity.
Performs related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality with diverse groups of individuals at all levels
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Aiblity to prioritize competing priorities
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of Dayforce highly preferred
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education and experience equivalent to a post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related field
Two (2) years of professional human resources experience in one or more of the following areas: recruitment , risk management, workers’ compensation, benefits administration, training and/or payroll processing
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job will be in an office environment, with periodic visits to the plants at the Fort Worth location.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times (assistance provided)
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full time position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM
TRAVEL
No travel is expected for this position
