Position Overview
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will play an integral role in sustaining and improving Nehring’s equipment and overall production processes. The Maintenance Supervisor is a hands-on, working foreman position that spends the majority of their time on the shop floor. The successful candidate will handle the following responsibilities:
Coordinate with Operations team and outside contractors to schedule maintenance activities and manage/reduce machine downtime
Drive and improve preventative maintenance (PM) process
Manage multiple projects with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
Drive continuous improvement projects and identify opportunities for Capex
Identify and implement actions to improve workplace safety and reduce environmental impact
Demonstrate a sense of urgency to achieve company commitments and goals
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associates or 2-year technical degree preferred
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge.
- Must be proficient in technology and software such ERP systems, AutoCAD, Minitab, Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Familiarity with maintenance management software (e.g. Limble)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to speak/interpret Spanish a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
