Additive Manufacturing Engineer

Overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare print ready files, ensuring stock addition, support generation, and validation checklist completion. Develop a Manufacturing Process Specification aligned with customer requirements, referencing the Project Information Sheet, Technical Proposal, and Sales Order.
• Establish manufacturing routing within the ERP system and shop floor, adhering to Immensa's internal procedures (IMM-MNL-3204 & IMM-PRO-10) inclusive of MOs & travellers.
• Initiate prints and oversee the printing process. v. Record and manage non-conformities encountered during project execution within ERP-Odoo.
• Track actual project costs to identify the gaps of estimation. vii. Document/maintain the record of project files inclusive of design files, 2D drawings, MPSs & finished part images.
• Submit the finished parts to QC department for inspections on ERP-Odoo.
• Maintain a detailed production log, ensuring traceability of raw materials (metallic powder), build plates, parts, and coupons.
• Maintain 5S to sustain the clean & safe environment.
• Comply with safety instructions against shopfloor hazards and keep others safe as well.
• Report the incidents and near misses to reporting manager and quality department for the sake of risk minimization.
• Owner of assigned machines as per signed JDs as an operator.
• Collect the traveller from AM engineers.
• Execute the respective machine operations & maintenance plans as per Immensa internal procedures. (IMM-PRO-10 & IMM-PRO-11). This covers but not limited to setting up machine, material change, filter change, de-powdering, powder testing & powder recycling
• Oversee the printing process.
• File the details in traveller, machine log & maintenance log as required.
• Once job completed, hand over the traveller and parts to the next responsible person as per traveller. vii. Contact and attend the OEMs in case of any machine repairs and adjustments.
• Execute calibration activities of production equipment with the help of ERP-Odoo (e.g., vernier callipers , micrometres, gauges, safety relief valves, etc.,).
• Monitor internal preventive maintenances on monthly basis.
• Report the deviations to production manager to take the necessary dispositions and file it in the defect log as per Immensa internal procedure.
• Regularly monitor the health of assigned machines & communicate any anomalies to production manager.
• Maintain 5S to sustain the clean & safe environment.
• Comply with safety instructions against shopfloor hazards and keep others safe as well.
• Incoming inspection as per the project requirements.
• Final inspection and making QC report.
• Share the remarks with the relevant team to devise the right disposition action and resolve the defect.
