Responsibilities of an Activity Assistant:

• Assist with organizing and planning activities that enhance the well-being and enjoyment of our residents.
• Engage residents in meaningful social, recreational, and therapeutic activities.
• Get to know residents personally and tailor activities to their interests.
• Encourage and motivate residents to participate in activities.
• Adapt activities to accommodate residents with varying cognitive and physical abilities.
• Assist with event setup, execution, and cleanup.
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress.
• Work collaboratively with the Activities Director and other team members to create a positive environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in activities, recreation, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• A passion for working with seniors and individuals with varying abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creativity and enthusiasm in planning engaging activities.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
