Purpose of the Job
Manage accounting and financial operations for telecommunications infrastructure projects, including fiber optic networks, towers, excavation, and installation.
Control project costs, prepare contract payment requests, and monitor cash flows according to defined schedules.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Record and track direct and indirect project costs by cost center.
- Record and review daily accounting entries.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable and perform reconciliations.
- Prepare and review invoices and other financial documents.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and verify account balances.
- Assist with periodic financial reports and statements.
- Monitor expenses and revenues for accounting accuracy.
- Reconcile account statements with clients and suppliers.
- Support monthly and annual financial closing activities.
- Maintain accounting documents and records.
- Monitor advances and expense accounts with related reconciliations.
- Collaborate with departments to provide financial data and information on time.
Project Payments and Audit Support
- Prepare and follow up on interim and final client payment requests with site engineers and project management teams.
