About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage the complete accounting operations for all supermarket branches and warehouse
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping and maintenance of the General Ledger
- Monitor daily sales reconciliation, cash collection, and banking transactions
- Supervise Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and credit control
- Manage supplier payments, customer accounts, and vendor reconciliations
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits
- Prepare monthly management reports, profitability analysis, and financial dashboards
- Monitor branch wise and warehouse inventory valuation and reconciliation
- Control operational expenses and recommend cost saving initiatives
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent is highly preferred
- Minimum 5–8 years of UAE accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Prior experience in supermarkets, hypermarkets, retail chains, FMCG, or wholesale trading is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance
- Excellent understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting
- Experience handling multi branch accounting operations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, Financial Analysis)
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Focus ERP, Zoho Books, Tally Prime, or other retail accounting software

Role Description
- The Account Manager role is a full time, on site position based in Dubai.
- The Account Manager must have strong UAE retail accounting experience and the ability to manage financial operations across all supermarket branches and warehouse facilities.
Key Responsibilities
