About the Role
Al Kabayel Prime Supermarkets is hiring an Accounts Executive in Al Barsha to manage daily accounting operations, financial closing, VAT compliance, and reporting for multiple branches.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily accounting operations for all supermarket branches and warehouse
- Record and maintain accurate accounting entries in the system
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
- Maintain proper bookkeeping and General Ledger records
- Monitor daily sales reconciliation, cash collection, and banking transactions
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) entries
- Prepare supplier payment schedules and vendor reconciliations
- Assist in VAT return preparation and ensure compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations
- Support external audit requirements by preparing necessary documents and reports
- Prepare routine financial and management reports as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of UAE accounting experience
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic financial analysis)
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Focus ERP, Zoho Books, Tally Prime, or similar accounting software

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor daily sales reconciliation, cash collection, and banking transactions.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) entries.
- Prepare supplier payment schedules and vendor reconciliations.
- Assist in VAT return preparation and ensure compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
- Support external audit requirements by preparing necessary documents and reports.
- Prepare routine financial and management reports as required.
- Assist in branch wise and warehouse stock reconciliation and inventory records.
- Monitor operational expenses and highlight discrepancies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Minimum 2–5 years of UAE accounting experience.
- Prior experience in supermarkets, hypermarkets, retail chains, FMCG, or wholesale trading is preferred.
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience in multi branch accounting operations is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic financial analysis).
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Focus ERP, Zoho Books, Tally Prime, or similar accounting software.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Cash flow tracking.
- Cost control and basic financial analysis.
- MIS reporting and data entry accuracy.
