About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting activities including data entry, invoice processing, and journal entries
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions into the accounting system
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records
- Assist in preparation of month end and year end financial reports
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries including balance sheets and profit & loss statements
- Assist with VAT/GST returns, tax filings, and other statutory compliance
- Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments
- Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Assist with preparation for internal and external audits
- Maintain financial files and records in an organized manner
- Provide administrative support to senior accountants and finance team
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Part qualified accountant
- 4 5 years of experience in accounting or finance role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Job Summary
- The Accountant is responsible for supporting the finance department with a variety of accounting tasks. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting activities, including data entry, invoice processing, and journal entries.
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions into the accounting system.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the preparation of month end and year end financial reports.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports for internal use.
- Assist with VAT/GST returns, tax filings, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Ensure all accounting practices comply with relevant laws and standards.
- Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Provide data for variance analysis and assist in financial planning activities.
Key Requirements
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Part qualified accountant
- Previous experience (4 5 years) in an accounting or finance role is preferred.
- Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
Compensation
- Job Type: Full time
- Pay: AED4,000.00 AED5,000.00 per month
