Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and records
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and bookkeeping records
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Perform independent audits or reviews of financial statements as required
- Reconcile accounts, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective measures
- Advise management on financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting
- Support preparation of tax filings, VAT/GST reports, and other statutory submissions
- Monitor internal controls and suggest improvements to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with external auditors, regulators, and other financial professionals as needed
Requirements
- MCOM or any additional qualification considered
- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in an independent or consulting capacity
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics
