About the Role
Guarantee Travel Group is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee the accounting function in Dubai. You will supervise the accounting team, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain internal controls, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and IFRS.

Responsibilities
- Supervise, guide, and review the work of Accountants and Senior Accountants
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of all transactions
- Lead and ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Review and approve bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, POS and cash reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations
- Ensure full compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards (IFRS)
- Strengthen and monitor internal controls to reduce financial risk
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Identify gaps in accounting processes and implement improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 6–8+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, IFRS, and full accounting cycle
- Experience supervising or leading accounting staff
- Professional certification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CMA)
- Strong ERP experience (Maxis Cloud or similar)

Role Overview
- The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the accounting function, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and supervising the day to day work of the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Supervision & Leadership: Supervise, guide, and review the work of Accountants and Senior Accountants
- Assign tasks, manage workload distribution, and ensure deadlines are met
- Review and approve accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of all transactions
- Review and validate RVs, PVs, and JVs
- Ensure proper posting and accuracy within the ERP system (Maxis Cloud or equivalent)
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Lead and ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Review and approve bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, POS and cash reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy of financial reports before submission to management
- Oversee preparation of management reports, including P&L and balance sheet summaries
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 6–8+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, IFRS, full accounting cycle and closing processes
- Experience supervising or leading accounting staff
- Professional certification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CMA)
- Strong ERP experience (Maxis Cloud or similar systems)
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision making skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Strong problem solving and analytical ability
