Role Overview
SIMT is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a finance and accounting leadership opportunity in Dubai.
The role oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, controls, compliance, and the accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and reconciliations.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Maintain accounting procedures and internal financial controls.
- Prepare management reports, financial analysis, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate audits, improve accounting processes and systems, and support financial planning.
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 6 years of accounting experience, including management or supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, accounting controls, and month-end closing.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Excel and strong financial analysis skills.
