Internship overview
This is a three-month unpaid work-experience internship in accounting and UAE Corporate Tax compliance.
The placement is designed for students, recent graduates, and early-career individuals seeking practical exposure.
The intern will work with the CEO and Founder within the Finance and Administration department.
Schedule and arrangement
- Working hours are four hours per day.
- The work arrangement is 80% remote and 20% on-site.
- The internship provides two days off per week.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts and financial records and record business transactions.
- Assist with reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, collections, and payment tracking.
- Support financial reporting covering profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow information.
- Maintain financial documents and support UAE Corporate Tax calculations, filings, adjustments, and records.
- Prepare information for external accountants and tax advisers and support external audits.
- Maintain filing systems, audit trails, and accounting, tax, and compliance deadline calendars.
- Monitor changes to UAE accounting and Corporate Tax requirements.
