Responsibilities
- Independently perform day to day accounting activities in accordance with Parsons policies and applicable accounting standards
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports
- Maintain the general ledger, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Support month end, quarter end, and year end closing activities
- Analyze account balances, investigate variances, and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Support internal and external audit activities
- Ensure compliance with established accounting procedures, internal controls, and corporate policies
- Assist in preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to internal stakeholders
- Participate in improvement and implementation of accounting processes, tools, and systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for an Accountant (Saudi National) to independently perform accounting activities, prepare and analyze financial reports, maintain the general ledger, support audit activities, ensure compliance, and provide technical guidance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Independently perform day to day accounting activities in accordance with Parsons policies and applicable accounting standards
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
- Maintain the general ledger, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Support month end, quarter end, and year end closing activities, ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines
- Analyze account balances, investigate variances, and resolve accounting discrepancies or irregularities
- Support internal and external audit activities by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries
- Ensure compliance with established accounting procedures, internal controls, and corporate policies
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to internal stakeholders as required
- Participate in the improvement and implementation of accounting processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information to non financial stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles, practices, and standards
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work
