About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage day to day accounting operations including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and general ledger
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts, and financial reports
- Prepare project wise profitability reports, cost analysis, and business performance reports
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability across multiple projects
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal financial controls
- Manage accounting operations within Odoo ERP including financial accounting, management accounting, project accounting, and period end closing
- Support ERP implementation, process improvements, and finance automation
- Assist with internal and external audits
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- Minimum 5 6 years of accounting experience
- Strong hands on experience with Odoo ERP (Mandatory)
- Experience preparing management accounts, financial statements, and project wise reports
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent preferred
- Experience with Xero is an advantage
- Must currently be based in the UAE
- Must be available for immediate joining

Job Overview
- We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai.
- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Odoo ERP, financial accounting, management accounting, financial reporting, project wise reporting, and month end/year end closing.
- Experience with Xero will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day to day accounting operations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform bank, credit card, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
- Process journals, accruals, prepayments, and month end adjustments.
- Complete monthly and yearly financial closing activities.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts, and financial reports.
- Prepare project wise profitability reports, cost analysis, and business performance reports.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability across multiple projects.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal financial controls.
- Manage accounting operations within Odoo ERP, including financial accounting, management accounting, project accounting, reporting, and period end closing.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
