About the Role
TLM International FZE is seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant to manage full-spectrum accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance.

Responsibilities
- Maintain complete and accurate accounting records in compliance with standards and policies
- Manage day to day accounting transactions and ensure timely recording of financial data
- Prepare and maintain General Ledger entries and reconciliations
- Process supplier invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliations
- Manage customer invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, VAT requirements, and internal controls
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Utilize ERP systems effectively for accounting and reporting functions
Requirements
- 4 8 years of accounting experience
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or related industries
- Hands on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel reporting
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of UAE regulations and VAT requirements

What We’re Looking For
- We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced General Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting and financial operations within our organization.
- The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Bank Reconciliations, Financial Reporting, Balance Sheet Management, and Profit & Loss (P&L) preparation.
- The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and prior experience in the logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or related industries. Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel reporting is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain complete and accurate accounting records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Manage day to day accounting transactions and ensure timely recording of financial data.
- Prepare and maintain General Ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Ensure proper month end and year end closing activities.
- Process supplier invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliations.
- Verify supporting documents and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Monitor payment schedules and maintain healthy supplier relationships.
- Resolve vendor queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage customer invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations.
- Follow up on outstanding receivables and ensure timely collections.
- Monitor customer credit limits and aging reports.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
