- Manage day to day accounting operations, including recording journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and reconciling accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
- Analyze financial data, identify variances, and collaborate with other teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy
Requirements
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., ERP systems such as Zoho, Tally) and advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Understanding of relevant tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA inter) are an advantage
- Prior experience in a corporate or group level accounting environment, ideally within a multinational or diversified business, is preferred
- Ability to work on site in Dubai and adapt to a fast paced, multicultural work environment
