- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation
- Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payment transactions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations
- Prepare and review monthly accruals and prepayments
- Assist with month end and year end closing activities
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts
- Process payroll related accounting entries where required
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate records and schedules
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable financial regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Qualified/Part Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage

Role Description
- The Accountant is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, responsible for managing day to day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, preparing and reconciling ledgers, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- The role involves preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, supporting budget preparation, and assisting with audits and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
