Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain transaction accounts, records, and documentation using accounting packages such as Zoho, Tally ERP, and QuickBooks.
• Prepare accurate accounts and reports in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collection of payments.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements and transactions.
• Collaborate with external auditors and prepare annual audit schedules.
• Provide management with financial analysis, trends, and variance insights.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and reports as required.
• Maintain current knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Improve accounting processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Required Candidate Profile

• Hold a bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA Affiliate, ACCA Member, or CA is preferred.
• Have at least two years of UAE accounting or auditing experience.
• Understand accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.
• Be proficient in Zoho, Tally, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• ERP systems experience is a plus.
• Demonstrate analytical ability, attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Work independently and collaboratively with initiative.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic or other languages are advantageous.
• Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and a strong ethical mindset.
