Accountant

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain company transaction accounts and documentation using accounting packages such as Zoho, Tally ERP, and QuickBooks.
• Prepare accurate accounts and reports in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment collection.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
• Collaborate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules.
• Provide management with financial analysis, trends, and variance insights.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and reports as required.
• Maintain knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Improve accounting processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Required Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least two years of UAE experience in accounting or auditing.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.
• Proficiency in Zoho, Tally ERP, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required.
• ACCA Affiliate or Member, CA, ERP experience, and Arabic or other languages are advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with initiative and a proactive approach.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and integrity in financial matters.
