- Manage day to day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Track project budgets, costs, and expenses for interior and fit out projects
- Coordinate with procurement and project managers to monitor financial performance, project budgeting (profit & loss), and identify cost saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and company policies
- Assist in audit preparation and liaise with auditors as required
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for all projects and company operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years UAE experience in accounting, preferably with interior/fit out companies
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks & Zoho Books only)
- Familiarity with project accounting, VAT, and financial compliance in the UAE
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines under pressure
- Good communication and team collaboration skills

Job Overview
- Maklad Design is looking for an Accountant to join our dynamic interior and fit out team in Dubai.
- If you have 3–5 years of UAE experience in accounting, preferably in interior design, architecture, or fit out projects, and a solid understanding of project accounting and cost tracking — this role is for you!
