Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Accountant with proven experience in the UAE.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in SAP, well-versed in VAT regulations, and experienced in handling receivables and payables.
This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting functions, including posting journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and performing reconciliations
- Reconcile bank accounts and loan statements, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date
- Work extensively with SAP for financial transactions and reporting
- Ensure adherence to UAE VAT regulations, including calculations, submissions, and proper record-keeping
- Support accounts receivable and payable processes to ensure smooth financial operations
- Assist during internal and external audits by preparing required documentation
- Maintain organized financial data and support timely reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience within the UAE (mandatory)
- Practical working experience with SAP is essential
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT compliance and procedures
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
