Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail oriented Accountant to join our finance team and support accurate bookkeeping and accounting operations. This role will assist with maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and following up on payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and bookkeeping for daily transactions
- Assist in processing invoices, reconciliations, and financial entries
- Support physical payment follow ups with clients and vendors
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
- Identify and correct discrepancies in accounting records
- Support month end and year end closing activities
- Prepare reports and financial statements as required
- Collaborate effectively with the finance team to improve processes and reduce errors
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with payment follow ups and vendor/client interactions is a plus
