Job Overview
The Accountant cum Admin Assistant will handle day-to-day accounting activities and general administrative and office support. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or diploma, good accounting knowledge, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting records, invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Manage petty cash and daily financial transactions.
- Follow up on customer payments and outstanding receivables.
- Assist with VAT-related records and documentation.
- Maintain proper filing of financial and administrative documents.
- Handle general office administration and correspondence.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Manage office supplies, records, and routine administrative tasks.
- Assist management with reports and other accounting/administrative requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma
- Previous experience in accounting and administration.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Experience with accounting software/ERP systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE accounting and VAT practices is an advantage.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
- Male candidates are preferred.
