Accountant – Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable (SAP Hana)

Location: Abu Dhabi

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of accounts receivable and payable processes, including customer and supplier master data management, invoicing, collections, cash applications, payments, and compliance with internal controls and VAT regulations.
• Experience with CC&B, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP/billing systems.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills, with experience in AR/GL, AP to GL, CCB, and intercompany account reconciliations, including sub-ledger closing and sign-off.
• Proficiency in cash flow forecasting, cash management, banking operations, and electronic payment workflows.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to address queries and exceptions for both customers and suppliers.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation, organizational, and record-keeping abilities for both physical and digital records.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet closing and payment deadlines, and handle ad hoc requests effectively.
• Aptitude for process improvement, automation, and resolving discrepancies across AR and AP functions.
• Experience with petty cash management, customer refunds, and bank-related administrative tasks (stationery, cheque books, signatories).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or relevant finance roles, including intercompany accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with ERP or billing systems and advanced Excel skills preferred.
