Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily finance and accounting operations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and budget variances.
- Monitor working capital and recommend cost-control measures.
- Review inventory valuation, cost of goods sold, and stock differences.
- Maintain bookkeeping and general ledger accounts.
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
- Review and verify the trial balance.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Complete month-end and year-end closing.
- Maintain the fixed-asset register, depreciation, accruals, and prepayments.
Tax, Compliance, and Analysis
- Prepare and submit UAE VAT and Corporate Tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and accounting standards.
- Support external audits and maintain complete financial records.
- Prepare advanced Excel reports and financial analyses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least three years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
- Strong financial reporting and reconciliation skills.
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
- Advanced Excel and accounting software skills.
- Retail or multi-branch experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 4,000 to AED 5,000 per month.
Workplace
- The work location is in person.
