Responsibilities
- Maintain daily bookkeeping and accounting records
- Reconcile bank accounts, POS transactions, payment gateways, and cash collections
- Track vehicle revenue, expenses, fines, Salik, maintenance, and fleet related costs
- Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Issue invoices and follow up on overdue client payments
- Coordinate payroll processing and staff expense reimbursements
- Prepare VAT returns and maintain compliance with UAE regulations
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Use AI tools to prepare reports, analyze data, review documents, and improve productivity
- Build and maintain AI driven workflows to automate repetitive accounting tasks
- Identify opportunities to improve financial visibility and operational efficiency
Requirements
- 3+ years accounting experience in UAE
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT requirements
- Experience with accounting software (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
- Confident user of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms
- Ability to use AI for reporting, research, process improvement, and workflow automation
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Good English communication skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

The Role
