The Accountant manages daily accounting activities and supports audit, tax, reporting, and advisory work.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar.
The role involves regular interaction with clients and internal teams to meet deadlines and maintain service quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledgers.
- Reconcile accounts and assist with financial statements.
- Support audit engagements and tax compliance.
- Prepare management reports and analyze variances.
- Collaborate with audit and advisory teams to provide accurate financial insights to clients.
- Interact with clients and internal teams to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality service standards.
Qualifications
- Strong financial accounting, general ledger, and financial statement preparation skills.
- Experience with audit procedures, internal controls, and accounting and auditing standards.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, tax return preparation, and basic tax planning principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying discrepancies or risks.
- Effective communication and ability to present financial information clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Doha, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Experience in the automobile industry and real estate.
